This has been discussed a couple times, most recently about 3 weeks ago. You took part in the conversation yourself.

My answer remains unchanged: I'm not personally interested in pursuing RSS feeds. But I will accept code contributions if someone else comes up with a clean way to do it.

In semi-related news, from the lack of comments, I assume the Email update feature is working for those who've tried it. I want to give a few more days for the translation teams at Transifex to work on translating the new strings before I release it.

Ill give you an example because its any story from TWCS not a specific one it updates the book but not the metadata.

I went in to change the ini to http://www.twcslibrary.net/
and it worked but it wont save it for some reason

Calibre 2.20 was released with a bug. Kovid put a fixed version up, but didn't change the version. Go download and install calibre 2.20 again. FFDL won't be able to save any config changes until you do. Ditto and changes to Reading List plugin lists.

I suggest you get the current calibre 2.20 installed, update to the most recent FFDL test version (here as of this posting) and review your settings. You also might try creating a temporary test library and download it there to prove it's the settings.

I did as you said redownloaded calibre and installed the plugin from the link you gave and it didnt fix the problem.

Jimm also mentioned trying it again in an isolated environment (temporary test library). It would be best if you provided us with your personal.ini configuration file (make sure to remove sensitive data beforehand).

and when you go in to edit this is what it does.

No matter what language the story is in, the column always says English.

Not sure why AO3 didn't have language support before. I vaguely recall that the language was only visible when searching and wasn't shown in the story data before.

Attached is a version that uses language with AO3.

What and where exactly do you mean? What do you expect to happen when you click it? And are you sure this is related to FFDL and not Calibre itself (because there's an entirely different forum for that)?

I don't know if it is the wrong place, and if it is then I'm sorry.

When I click on the Author of a story in book details, it gives me a link to the author's page on the website where the story is from. It would be nice to be able to do the same thing with the title.
