it kind of drives me insane even in the context of cell phone texting. and that looks a lot less coherent than any texting i've ever seen... (i admit i'm far from an expert). i understand sometimes it's useful, since text messages are limited to a certain number of characters. but still...

I can't make much sense out of it! You would need a decoder to figure out what the message was. I just saw a news program last night that said kids are texting too much and arn't developing their face-to-face social skills that they will need in later life. The mom said she would rather have her daughter have txt friends than no friends at all.
