and it's brilliant. Last year we made a "if you can only recommend one single book for others to read"- thread and this was my recommendation. Medieval version of Hitchkock's Rear Window and really well written. Highly recommended.

Bought this in a bundle with a Kobo coupon several months ago. VERY good! There's another book that goes with this one, "The Sun and the Moon." The series page on Amazon and the bundle make it look like a 6-book series, but it's three 2-book series set in the same era.

Anyway, these were wonderful! Recommended.
