Switching cases won't be a problem. The only time for me to switch a case is if one got broke or is wore out. The Origami case might be a little bit too easy to remove. If I grab a hold of my case, I expect it to hold my device secure enough to carry around without having to grab the device as well. I don't see that happening with just magnets on the Origami.

As much as its a great case it's hard to get off once it's on so if I were you if you like the case just pick one and stick with it and send the other one back.

I am not planning to switch covers. The brown map is for my wifes Voyage, the grey map is for my own Voyage.

Is there any hard front cover PVC covers/case for the screen? I don't want cardboard ones. Thanks

There isn't the slightest chance of the Kindle falling out of the Origami case. It's not only held in with magnets; the back of the case is shaped to fit the Kindle and it won't budge unless you "pry" it out.

Ah, thank you for that information. From the description it sounds like it can be easily removed (unlike the PW official covers).

Anyway, my Omoton covers arrived with Voyages, and they are very nice and lightweight. The Origami are not that appealing to me price wise, look wise, and weight wise.

It can be easily removed; it just isn't going to fall out.

The important thing is that you've found something that you like .

Aliexpress have a lot of cases for the Voyage, but not as many as it looks like as they have different entries for each supplier rather than each case. Cheap too.

Hi, I'm new here.

So I finally found the (for me) perfect Kindle Voyage case, the Poetic GraphGrip. I wanted something similar to the Marware Sport Grip I had on my Kindle Keyboard, something without a flipable cover, mainly improving the grip. It was a somewhat frustrating search as this one isn't listed in the German branch of Amazon (.de). Only when I absolutely couldn't find anything to my liking there I noticed that the American .com had a much wider variety of Kindle cases. I ended up ordering this one directly from Poetic.

I use my Kindle mostly at home and this rubber case offers plenty of protection for the occasional slip-out-of-hand or fall-out-of-bed. So I don't need a cover to protect it from car keys or anything it could share a bag or pocket with, or from high altitude plunges onto sharp rocks. Though at the moment I'm still using it in combination with a screen protector. I had a matte anti glare screen protector first, but it significantly reduced the sharpness of the display. Kind of counter productive if you buy the Voyage for its high-res e-ink display. So now I have crystal clear screen protector on it, which turns the surface reflective like a smooth screen of glass. I can live with that for now, though I am considering getting rid of the protector. Just how scratch resistant is that hardened glass screen? I kind of don't want to find out by successfully scratching it...

Back to the case. It definitely improves the grip, makes it much easier and safer to hold and page your Kindle with one hand. Other than it looks on the pics at the manufacturer's website, it does have a cutout of the USB port. Not for the charge status LED though, if you need to see that. Without the case I sometimes accidentally also triggered the on-screen paging areas when I was just thumbing the page press sensors on the rim. Now with the Graph Grip I can trigger these page press sensors by just increasing pressure on the rubber rim, my thumb is not actually touching the screen. (This works better when you set the sensors to high sensitivity.)

So if you, like me, are not looking for a stylish accessoire but for a case that makes one handed reading much more comfortable, and if you don't want a cover dangling at the back of your Kindle, this might be the one for you.

I guess it's OK to post this link? And no, I don't work for Poetic.

Greetings,
Hardy

Oops, I have gotten too used to automatic downsizing in other forums. Won't happen again.

But then you take it out of the sleeve naked, drop it, and end up with a dead Kindle. And we've had posts recently of Readers being broken because they were dropped and they were not in a case. So you are taking a big risk with an expensive investment.
