Scene: Airport check-in.

Red-faced, exhausted traveller is trying to check in for their flight. A debate is on-going about the size and weight of their hand luggage. Eventually, the traveller moves a huge dictionary, and about 50 books into a new suitcase. "That'll be $279 is excess baggage charges. Plus taxes." Sounds of screaming as fade out.

Fade in to cool, stylishly dressed traveller who saunters up to the check-in with a just their liseuse as hand luggage, speedily gets their boarding card and walks off.

"<insert name here>. For easier, lighter travel."

That would sell hundreds of whichever liseuse it was - brilliant!

But also - play fair and give me material I can work with here!

(one summer, a friend of mine showed me the books she was planning on taking on vacation with her to her parents' house. there were about 20 of them. a few days before i took the train down to join her for a weekend, she called me and asked me if i could go and buy her another book, because she had read all of the ones she took and they didn't have the one she wanted in the village where her parents live. )

NewsReader: "The on-going legal case over unfair advertising in the Kindle advert rumbles on. Today the court was taken to the forest in the advert."
(cut to VT report) scene: the clearing is filled with the court and entourage. At the very centre is a metal mesh cage, about 7 foot high and 8 foot square. Sitting in the center of it is a person with a tin-foil hat, holding something wrapped in several bags.
NewsReader voiceover: "The complainant showed how, whilst sitting in a faraday cage in the forest and holding their Kindle inside four electrostatic protection bags, they were unable to reliably download the books. The defense counsel questioned if it was reasonable to attempt to use the Kindle in such a fashion. The complainant replied that there was nothing in either the advert or the user manual that stated they shouldn't attempt such use, and that it was essential to take such precautions against unfair spying. The case continues."

Scene: An office. In the foreground, a man or woman in a business-cut suit is packing a reader into a briefcase. Behind them, in the background, is an unobstructed view of a vast wall of conspicuously empty bookshelves.

Caption: "Take them all with you. Yes, all of them."
