I found that one during last year's geography challenge. I didn't get to it last year, but it is on my short list for more countries this year. I'll be reading it some time soon, but I'll hit the library for it. I'm not fussy between paper and ebook.

There are also several movie versions of the story, some as late as the 1990's (the latest was in 2011), so while it may be an old story certainly someone must have seen potential in it as yet. I count 10 versions listed over at IMDB.

There are! I haven't seen them, but I really like Michael Fassbender and I just learned that he's actually one of the actors in the gothic version. Although as far as reviews tell me, the Mini-Series is the best (can't say for sure. Have to finish the book first before the movies. Haha)
