Seattle did a pretty good job of throwing it away for the first 3+ quarters. Then it got exciting. At half time, I turned it off and watched an episode of Madam Secretary, because the game was boring.

I'm not much of a football fan, let alone a fan of the home team. Truth is, I didn't care who won, just as long as it was exciting to watch.

So, the home team goes to the Super Bowl again - yay

I just discovered there's a Whittard shop in the shopping centre around the corner from our hotel! I once bought their chocolate and cinamon milk powder, which was delicious (had to throw it away after the fire). I'm now trying to decide which flavour of chocolate milk I'm going to buy.

Resting after doing some more spring cleaning. Been giving the apt. a full once over in prep. for inspection which it seems is a week from today on Jan. 30th now. Hopefully my efforts will be appreciated by the manager. I've been dusting, wiping down, re-arranging, sorting out what is what etc. for the past two weeks now. It doesn't help that my mom smokes and the residue sticks to the walls but I have managed to get them somewhat scrubbed down. I ended up using the new swiffer sweeper that I bought last week for that. If it will pick up dirt on the floor (I figured) it aught to do the same for walls and it did make the job a lot easier.

Gee, I'm glad no one inspects MY place. My neighbor gifted me a year ago with a long haired (grr) black kitten. I've had cats before, but not long haired. My cream carpets look so much dirtier from the amount that this cat sheds. Sigh.
