I think so, too. I expect Future Echo app and device software updates will include useful enhancements to existing functions as well as new features. This device has amazing potential.

Same here I order the same day and got the same delivery date. However I am expecting it to move up and we are starting to see some changes in dates so I am hopeful.

My delivery date is still in May. I am undecided about canceling (though leaning that way), so I'm glad it hasn't changed while I continue to dither.

I just received a feature update email from the Amazon Echo Team:

Dear Amazon Customer,

Voice control for Spotify, iTunes, and Pandora: You can now enjoy hands-free voice control for these popular music services. To get started, simply connect your phone or tablet to Echo by saying "Alexa, pair my device." After you start playing your music, you can easily control it by saying the wake word and: play, pause, stop, next, or previous.

Simon Says: You've likely heard some of Echo's jokes—now there's another way to have fun with Echo. You can get Echo to repeat whatever you have in mind by starting with "Alexa, Simon says…" Here's a fun tip: you can covertly use the remote control from another room to get Echo to repeat what you say and surprise your family.

In addition to these new features, we've made numerous improvements based on your feedback. Are you referring to shopping and to-do lists?

The Echo app can be installed on multiple devices, and there's also a website where you can access Echo's features, including lists. As long as the same Echo is registered to the individual apps, the lists can be shared that way since the info's stored in the cloud. For example, you can add items to your shopping list at home, and your husband can pull it up on his phone at the grocery store if he has the Echo app installed/web access.

So you can share your list via SMS or Email?

Super excited she works with Spotify sorta. Be great if you could get her to play from your library on Spotify I hope they add that next.

It doesn't let me copy the list from the Android app.

Not formatted well I guess hoping for something to replace Out Of Milk is not there yet. I just want to be able to send a SMS from the app like I do with other apps.
