M96- stylus does not work

Hello everyone!

I just received Onyx Boox m96. The problem is that the stylus does not respond to presses in all situations.
What am I supposed to do?
May I ask you for any suggestions?

thank you

..."all situations"...? Not a very descriptive piece of information.

If it doesn't work 1 out of 10 times, its not too bad. To me it might happen something like 1 in 20, maybe less, maybe more. It might be the touch has registered but the device/app itself is slow. You need to troubleshoot & try to find it out whether it happens in all app, or only in a particular one etc.

It is doesn't work 9 times out of 10, then you need to get it fixed. Try a re-calibration, or if it doesn't help, either get the stylus replaced, or the screen, or both.

I had a similar problem. The stylus was working ok, and then all of sudden it just stopped responding for a moment. Those hiccups were very annoying especially that they seemed to be unpredictable.

Then I found that the stylus stops responding only in a very specific situation: when I keep the stylus near the screen (but do not touch it) for a few seconds. Now I'm just avoiding doing this and have no problem with stylus even in long reviewing or taking notes sessions.

Thank you all for your replies.
problem resolved by charging the battery above 90%.

I think it was a mistake to buy from the polish store.it seems that the device is not new.now I have a problem with the battery.it lasts for only 8 hours.not 8 weeks.

I paid $72 tax and if I returned it ,I will pay $100 .

Hmmmmm. Encountering the same initial issue with the stylus (does not work) with my brand (today) new M96. Scanning the short user guide there is no mention of a stylus calibration required. A reset makes no difference. I guess I will have to fully charge (currently at 60%) and try again.

Power seems to be around 95% so I tried again to use the stylus. No luck. I powered off and on. Again, no luck. Then went to:

Settings\About

To check the settings/firmware. To me it looks like the screen is not displaying correctly, some text is clear, while other info is not:

After enabling wifi I tried a "Cloud Update" but it says no new packages are available.
