Should anyone go ahead and do this promo could they post if there is an actual code. Although from what ATDrake is saying it seems that a code may not be given out but somehow acknowledgement is made at the checkout. Weird eh!

If anyone's morbidly curious, here are all the still-valid-in-Canada usable-on-any-eligible-couponable-title codes from the 1st post (less the current promo for alterego30, that is), which I checked after they turned off PERKOPOLIS for Canada (I also tried all the comeback codes and everything else at/over 35% off in the inactive list, IIRC, in case they'd recycled them).

As of the beginning of January these all still worked during a checkout test in an account that hadn't purchased anything from Kobo between mid-2013 and late-2014 and thus had never used them in the interim:

Man I could use a 75% (or more!) coupon right now. Why is it that the only time I'm clear on what I would do with one is when there's no chance to actually get one?

Versus the close-to-zero-as-makes-no-difference chance when there's a contest on, that is.

Darn. My kobo app on my ipad wouldn't start. Realised there was a Dec update and took care of that. Also applied a minor update to iOS. Finally got the app to work again. But now my shelves/collections have gone back to how they looked maybe six months ago (or before), meaning that many of my books have to be re-assigned to shelves. The 'I'm reading' section is also empty, and the shelves are no longer in alphabetical order. Why doesn't Kobo maintain a backup of this??? Not happy at all....

They do, unless you sideload your books. In that circumstance, all bets are off; they have no way of syncing that content to other devices (and possibly no right to do so), so storing that information in their cloud is rather pointless.

Well something got messed up. I have over 600 books and only a half dozen are side-loaded pdfs etc. (They all now appear at the top of my books list without covers). The rest are regular Kobo purchases all downloaded from their store. I'm going to stay off the app for a while and hope it all magically goes back to the way it was just this morning...
