This is called deriving a conclusion.
It is extremely reasonable to assume this question at this time is based off the FUD that the study caused; however, I wuld have opened with that.

I suspect your question derives from a recent story in the news that ebooks are bad for sleep. Be aware that this is junk science, and maybe check out this thread where the study was discussed.

Suffice it to say, there is nohing to be concerned about, unless your tablet (but not e-ink ereader) is in an abusive relationship with you.

You're rationale is good, but it ignores the fact that OP has not as yet mentioned that study. As far as we know, he heard about blue light and melatonin somewhere else. I know that's possible because I did, quite a while ago. I think it would be polite to not drag that argument into this thread.

Based on pictures posted on these forums, Voyages emit significantly more blue than red or green near the bottom of the screen. The total brightness decreases from bottom to top and the blue gets dimmer significantly faster than the red and green. By the top of the Voyage screen, the blue is usually significantly dimmer than the red and green.

Whether this is enough to suppress melatonin production seems to be an open question.

I use a Kobo Aura H2O and in the dark (in bed), I have it set between 4-6%. Not all that bright and I can rea just fine. Plus, it doesn't prevent falling asleep. I quite often turn the light off, close the sleep cover and put the H2O on the night table as I am getting sleepy.

Regardless of whether your subjective standards for what counts as a valid conclusion, the fact remains that it is the exact same issue no matter where the FUD originally came from.
I already said, in the first place, that I would phrase it in a way equally applicable to anyone I darn well feel like.

I think it would be polite for you not to tell me I cannot compare this to a similar story...
