Free (Kindle) Doubting Jesus' Resurrection

Doubting Jesus' Resurrection: What Happened in the Black Box? by Kris Komarnitsky is free (probably just today) for the Kindle.
Amazon US

Quote:
This book begins at the Bible's account of a discovered empty tomb three days after Jesus' death. Considering scholarship from both sides of the aisle, it explains why there is good reason to conclude that this tradition is a legend. Following up on this possibility, this book turns its attention to the earliest recorded Christian beliefs that Jesus was raised on the third day and that he appeared to many people. Covering many topics often encountered in discussions about Jesus' resurrection, this book proposes an answer to the question: What plausibly could have caused the rise of these extraordinary beliefs if there never was a discovered empty tomb and Jesus did not actually rise from the dead?
I haven't read it yet, but it was positively reviewed here and here by authors that I like.

Never heard of either the 'author' nor the reviewers.

Why put author in quotes? I have no idea if it is a good book or not, but it is a book, and therefore it has an author. There are many authors and reviewers that I have never heard of, but that I have never heard of them doesn't seem to be terrible noteworthy.

I wasn't trying to draw attention in that way. Actually I was making a subtle point while trying not to get this thread moved to the P & R forum.

I don't know anything about the 'author', which is why I linked the reviews. The reviewers are academics in the somewhat narrow field of New Testament history, so I'd expect that their names are mostly recognized by Bible history nerds. They are, though, exactly the sort of people that are qualified to have an opinion about this particular 'book'.
