Part soldier, part dreamer, and part adventurer, he went from service in the British Army to joining the Muskogee Peoples, rising to be a respected war chief among the Native Americans. He waged war on the Spanish and fought to create a Native American state.

Sounds like quite a colorful character.

Thanks for the post. It looks like a good book on a very obscure character in American history. The only rating that I could find was on Amazon, where a rater/reviewer gave it 5 stars and a glowing review.

I have Wildside Press' website in a bookmark file labelled "Check Every Monday" (I think that Monday is the day of the week on which they offer a new special). Unfortunately, that is on my laptop computer, which died a few days ago. I didn't think to check the site on this old standby backup computer that I'm using now. (Yes, I know that there is a way to sync bookmarks, but I didn't do it.) So, I'm thankful to you, crich70, for your post.

Anyway, I "bought" the book. One nice thing about the book, other than the fact that it is free, is that it is available in mobi and ePub. No pdf to be found.

The laptop is a HP "Envy" series. This is the second HP laptop in a row that I've bought. The first was troublesome, too. I should have known better than to buy another HP. Based on my bad experience with it, I have come to believe that this one is called "Envy" because if you own one, you will envy everyone else who has a laptop of a different brand. ha
