After a week at work from hell, I'm preparing to overdose on NFL playoffs today ... got all my chores done, ran all my errands, stocked up on beverages & snacks ....

Let's see if the Carolina can carry their losing record (but best in their division) to victory ... has any NFL team with a losing record for the year ever won the Super Bowl?

Later, the Steelers will (probably) (almost certainly) get their butts kicked off the field by the Ravens ....

Pure bliss!

When wanting to go to the Goodreads website Firefox is giving me the "untrusted connection" message. I never had that before

I went to the scrapbookstore today. The owner had to laugh because a couple of months I had told her that although I liked the end product of mixed media projects it was far too messy for me. Today a lot of the stuff I bought is for mixed media projects; inks, stains, embossing powder, stencils. I'm blaming all those great YouTube videos

Experimenting with different frame rates and resolutions on my video camera, and different processing effects that result from them. Today's experiment was in slow motion effects and how different frame rates give different result.

I put them together in this silly little two-minute video

From it, I can see how one frame rate effects the smoothness of the motion vs a slower rate. There is just so damn much to learn!

No problem here accessing Goodreads with Firefox. Perhaps it's a regional thing. On the other hand, I've seen that message when attempting to access a certain official U.S. Government site.

It was over within an hour, luckily.

I'm so glad the end of the year craziness in the the store is over now. Well, almost. It was so busy last week that my father went to two suppliers yesterday to pick up stuff we ran out of, so that needs to be dealt with today. I do like how when it's busy time flies and in general customers are really nice those last couple of weeks of the year. But not having time to lunch and having to go downstairs again to clean and deal with shipments after dinner for another couple of hours isn't fun.
