I'm waiting for Cover-up to respond to me, as things stand without the sleep function the cover is not as described.
I ordered the cover and probably I'll get it tomorrow. Please let us know what they answer to your question, since i'd like to have the sleep function too.

Well I'm glad that for you that the sleep cover is mentioned in the Amazon.com description, however it is not mentioned in the Amazon.co.uk description so there's not much I can do about my order.

It shouldn't be too difficult to turn that CoverUp case into a sleepcover. If you have a small 'magnet of the right type' you can tuck it into the convenient flap on the inside left cover so it's positioned over the bottom right corner of the screen when closed. It worked well on my old Oberon cover which I was using until the proper H2O slimfit covers turned up.

I've seen the 'right type of magnet' described as a rare-earth magnet, but some people have pried loose the magnets attached to cheap fridge-magnets. Just try any small magnet you can lay your hands on.

I just tried a bunch of fridge magnets. They did not cause the H2O to sleep.

It is mentioned on the amazon.co.uk page. Could you perhaps have a proper look before you repeatedly tell me I'm wrong?

Frig magnets would not work, they don't for me anyway. This might be a good choice.

Luck;
Ken

They come with the adhesive on either the north or south pole side of the magnet. I ordered 5 of each. I ordered these for $0.29 each.

This is from the Cocoa Brown Cover-Up listed on Amazon.co.uk just above the customer questions & answers.

Previously I looked at the specifications at the top part of the screen by the picture of the cover, not the detailed product description further down. My apologies for that and thanks for pointing it out. I have now emailed Cover Up myself.

As its not mentioned in the specifications my guess is the description is wrong, or we do all have faulty covers. I'll let you know what they say when they get back to me.

I would be really interested in what they have to say since they clearly advertise sleep as a feature.

It must vary. I only own 2 fridge-magnets - one works, the other doesn't - 50% success rate

What definitely worked for me was a tiny magnet liberated from a bar from one of those 'magnetic bars-and-balls' construction sets that my husband had from years ago. It's incredibly strong - in fact I was a bit worried in case it was too strong.

Have you sleepcover enabled in the power settings though?

I've disabled it; I don't have a sleep cover anyway. I did enable to try with a magnet though and it worked fine for me.

Couldn't you put in a tiny magnetic tape cut out to activate the sleep function?

http://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Magne...netic+adhesive

I would think that a cutout made from this would fit unobtrusively inside the built in pocket.
