I have a younger cousin who's having a hard time during college this year and he was singing the 12 days of Christmas (of a college student) to us as a joke. I don't remember the details (the last three were morbid and were running along the lines of a failing grade). I like it so much I'm still to ask him the actual lyrics (I think it was spontaneously done).

Nevertheless I found something that does a parody in the internet,
On the twelfth day of finals

My professor gave to me:

Twelve pencils breaking

Eleven study snacks

Ten review sessions

Nine-hours of social isolation

Eight cups-of-coffee

Seven tests-for-taking

Six chapters-for-reviewing

Five take-home essays

Four concerned friends

Three mental breakdowns

Two tension headaches

And one hour of sleep

I think it's interesting to think how many of the 'conveniences' we take for granted would have seemed like magic to our ancestors just a couple centuries back. Even something like air conditioning or electric light.

On that thought...

Most people gain weight by having intimate dinners for two...alone.

hahaha (Actually I don't mind having intimate dinners for two alone. Sounds romantic and incredibly satisfying)

And besides that ... you can't give up food cold turkey the way you can smokes or drugs. Somehow, you have to keep eating the darn stuff. Sigh.

Me too! A little candle-light, music, perhaps a nice wine. Maybe I'll get myself a bit drunk and take advantage of myself. I won't overdue it... I mean... nothing kinky. I won't tie myself up or anything.... you know.
