Good morning all, it's 6:00 AM PST (GMT-8) on a rather cool 2 degree celcius Thursday morning.

Only for those interested in Canadian Politics, our Prime Minister is going to Rideau Hall (the residence of the Governor General) in about one hour to ask the GG, Michaell Jean, to prorogue parliament (allow a time out of about 40 days) so that he can come up with a strategy to stave off an attempt by the Liberal and New Democratic parties to form a coalition government. This is history in the making for us.

please let us know what happens !! does the Governor General have to grant this request, or can he refuse ?

I'm NOT working right now and I really should, but I need to head into the really bad rush-hour traffic in about 40 minutes to go and pick up the dogs from their "doggie-kindergarten" and then head home and make dinner for me and the dogs, cause wifey is on a conference out of town and wont be home until tomorrow night.

So I kind of need to find the energy to be able to fight my way through all the morons that shouldn't really be allowed to come within 25 feet of a car, and even less be allowed behind the wheel of said car. Hence, instead of working, I am trying to calm down by breathing deeply, thinking of chocolate and reciting my mantra "Zany Carters Deluxe" silently to myself!

Well, not really, the staff from the High Gibbonates office are more into applying inanimate objects to various body parts. Unless of course they decide to really let it rip and send over a squad of Pirate Ninja Squirrels... then the thing about missing body parts is highly accurate
