If I recall, someone else who won one said it took a while to work out the details to receive it. So I'd bet on "just the usual." Waiting and a few emails should see it work out. Fingers crossed for you (as I stew in jealousy). Oh--they shut down part of the company for two weeks during the holidays too. I know this because last year there was no uploading of books for a period. You might want to be REALLY patient for the next two weeks as no one may even be reading the things now that it's Friday before Christmas week!

Brodie from Kobo has started a thread in the Kobo devices sub forum: New Search Results Page is online! and is seeking comments.

From what I can gather the change relates to being able to search for part of a name/title or the whole name/title. However, it seems to default on whole name/title unless the search engine can't find the name/title and then you get a choice of searching part of the name of the whole name.

Anyway, if you've got any thoughts you may want to post in Brodie's thread.

I won back in March and I just contacted CS (at the time they had live chat, but they don't anymore) and they said I was still the winner, but their system had a glitch. After I contacted them I received the email the following day. - From other CS dealings, I do not believe this was a coincidence.
I did have another member contact me about this because they won (months later) and had a lot of trouble getting their free ereader.

They will honor their winnings, you just have to keep on top of them in terms of contacting customer service. It usually takes them one business day to respond a customer service email, so it will be slow if you choose that route.

Check your spam, too. My original email came from "winner@kobocontest.com" then the email to confirm my address, etc came from "employee_name@kobo.com" not the contest email. (where employee_name was a name)

Hello, I'm that other member that contacted peachiekene! Long story short: I got the prize two months later - but I did stay on top of contacting customer service - via email and phone.
