I hooked up the Roku in Port 3 and DVD player in Port 1 and it works great! I don't even need the remote it switches automatically when I power the DVD on. Picture looks good too. I did have to buy an extra HDMI cable and since Amazon has made my favorite HDMI cables now a Add On item I got this one instead. I told hubby this is part of his Christmas present.

My delivery date has finally moved up as well! It was scheduled for 1/5--but now says preparing for shipment--estimated delivery date is tomorrow! I already have a Roku 3, so not sure what I'll use this for--but do anticipate it will be good for traveling.

Does it switch back to the roku when you power the dvd off?

Hubby is happy with it. I haven't even remove the plastic on the remote so the batteries will stay fresh. It switches perfect and the price is pretty good. The under $5 ones are shipped from Hong Kong but The one I link to is fulfilled by Amazon.

Weird, I just posted a link to the Prime eligible one, and it took me to the Hong Kong one as well.
It must be the default buying option for a group of equivalent devices.
Just search for hdmi switch and click the Prime eligible box.

Thanks. Did a search with Prime and it brought me to a different distributor. Same price, reviews, etc. Refined the search with your distributor listed and it showed up. Ordered it. Should be here Friday.

Thanks. Will play around when I get it. Some reviews say you need an AC adapter with some devices. My devices will be 2 out of 3 - Fire Stick, Roku 2 and Sony DVD player.

No ac needed for my chromecast, fire TV stick or laptop. I have no idea what an ac adapter might be needed for.
