It was the right image for N647B, that I acquired from a working device that I borrowed.

Google "Kobo wifi teardown" to find YouTube how to. I Like to keep reader face down on table near edge to reduce chance of twisting frame. Start at top left corner inserting thumb nail or guitar pick. Slide pick around counter clock wise twisting pick a little to pry back off at plastic retainer tabs. Their is double sided sticky tape is also holding it together. I took mine apart years ago dimly remember had to rotate bottom half a little to disengage plastic parts that keep it from separating. YouTube video and on line pictures will show parts location. Be careful around power switch especially during reassembly. Each time it is taken apart double sided sticky tape hold is weaker. This tape helps prevents racking (twisting) damage to screen.

Can I get the image for the N647 also please? Last update bricked it. Tried normal reset and pushing the button at the back and no go.
I now have the cover off and the micro SD chip available. Thanks |
