Zelda's gorgeous kitty pics mean that I am currently not doing the following:
I'm not
- not wishing we'd at least taken a look at the Norwegian Forest kittens we saw advertised the last time we were in Lymington
- not having a slight sniffle over our two late cats

Utterly unrelated, I'm also not throwing up, which is very good. I'm not hungry, either, but that's far less of an issue.

well, the story is, there was some sort of project about claustrophobia or confinement or something (i can't quite remember now the details) so i took (or more accurately, got a friend of mine to take) a series of photos in tight spaces. like the dryer at the laundromat. easily the most uncomfortable place i've ever been in (including airplane seats !!). not only is it small, and round, and metal, and keeps rolling when you try to change position, but those giant plastic blades will dig into your back no matter what you do. there is no way to get comfortable in there.

I am and I have. I've got anti nausea/vomitting tablets - which are working, something for an ear infection I didn't know I had, and had some blood removed for testing. Given how little wanted to come out, my arm looks a real mess!

I think I will learn from your experience and remain outside dryers The project sounds fascinating though.

Sorry to hear you are sick. Also sorry to hear that your cats passed away.

However, glad to report that I am NOT going to jail after all. So, that's what I'm not doing today.

that is probably for the best, for your own comfort. the project was fun though. it was a long time ago. i wouldn't climb into a dryer now, i don't think. (then again, i might. hard to say actually).

Well, I'm convinced. I was going to crawl into my dryer this afternoon, but have ruled that out as a pastime.

Now I'm bored.

The dishwasher, if you have such a thing, might be more comfy for a first try.

That reminds me, something that came up elsewhere - cooking salmon in a dishwasher?

As a non-dishwasher-owning vegetarian, this is clearly something I've never tried - but I'm curious as to how one would go about it!

heh, you saw the film "mes amis, mes amours" didn't you ! i saw it on the airplane. it was strange because one of the characters has the same name as me. it's bizarre to hear your name in a film.

i can't answer you about the salmon though. i also have no dishwasher and am vegetarian.
