^I don't know if there's one where you live, but I just put a lot of what I potentially want to read into ereaderiq.ca and they email me if Amazon ever drops the price. I have to check my email regularly to catch some things, but I've gotten quite a few usually $10-$15 ebooks for $3-$4. Definitely a great thing for someone like me that is decades behind the curve for trends in reading and whose yearly book budget is around $250.

I've already surpassed my stretch goal of 150 books for the year, AND I've managed to mostly keep my list up to date, so that goal has been met as well.

I haven't reached a final decision, but I suspect my 2015 goals will stay essentially the same as this year. I don't want to raise the number beyond the original 120 books read goal because I suspect I'll have a good deal less free time, at least in the first half of the year, due to projects I've already committed to.

I think next year I will increase my total reading goal by a little. I am thinking of different sub-challenges, but we'll see. I may add a sub-challenge later in the year. Mostly, I want to just increase the time I spend on reading, branch out and read new things (since I made 2014 a year of revisiting old favourites), and make a dent in unread-but-owned-books list.

Earlier on I finished my last sub-challenge book of the year, Saturday's Child by Ray Banks, for my ABC Murders detective challenge. That just leaves my main TBR challenge, which is looking good. I have a few books in hand for Christmas sales.

Thanks. I've always liked reading what other people thought of the books they read that I've read (or am interested in reading) too, so I've done the auto-linking every year just in case anyone else gets morbidly curious while browsing the lists like I do.

(And frankly, sometimes going back through my old posts in the WAWR thread is the only way I can keep track of what I actually did read. Record-keeping skills, what are they?)

Just finished book #149, Waistcoats & Weaponry, third and penultimate in Gail Carriger's Finishing School series. Now reading Saint Peter's Fair, the 4th Brother Cadfael mystery and possibly the 150th book of 2014.

I have done so well this year that I am setting my sites on that original one hundred books read in one year. Most likely I won't make it but it is sure fun trying to get there.

Complete! Finished book #150 yesterday when I listened to the last 10 minutes of Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Also finished #151: Saint Peter's Fair. From now until the end of the month, I'm reading for pages -- still need something over 2000 pages to meet my goal of 50,000 pages for the year.

Finished #161 yesterday, but I'm really struggling right now. Just grinding my way through the last couple of books, and neither of the ones I'm reading right now is doing it for me. Just MEH.

I am about the same, haven't read anything since Tuesday. Mostly playing a new to me puzzle game on my phone.

Well, I have two books to look forward to in the January Baen Bundle, and they should be available on Tuesday, the same day I pick up my new Voyage. Perhaps that will jump start me.
