Free in Sweden too ( at least the Fools gold series).
I just bought the Susan Mallery books. I read the first one a couple of years ago, but I never got a round to buying the rest of the series. I am a happy camper right now.

In a way, you kind of are.

The main Amazon store will default its settings to whatever's closest to your actual location (and occasionally reset itself even if you've been lying about your address to them, leaving your freebie-getting abilities in limbo for your actual IP until you actually try to make a paid purchase at which point it'll ask you to confirm your address).

So different regions will sometimes see different freebies when browsing what they think is the US store (since there's no dedicated regional URL like there is for .CA et al.), and it may be worth it for Gentle Readers worldwide to see what they can pull up when they look at the following:

Mills & Boon imprint (nothing for me in Canada)
Mira imprint (4 titles for Canadians, only 3 of them actually at $0.00)
Harlequin imprint (48 results for Canadians, again, some of them not actually at $0.00, and mostly samplers or 1st episodes in serials)
HQN imprint (nothing for me in Canada, but UK people get a bunch of 1st episode French-language serial samplers)
Gold Eagle imprint (nothing for me, but some action adventure thrillers for Japan & presumably elsewhere in Southeast Asia)
Carina imprint (3 regular Carina Press freebies, of which only 1 of them is actually currently free in Canada, + 24 probably-glitch freebies from Carina UK which I posted in their dedicated thread here)

Hmm, most of these books are not actually published by Harlequin (at least on the first 5 or so pages). Rhonda Nelson has written for Harlequin, but Double Dare was self-published in digital (originally published by Zebra). The only actual Harlequin titles I saw were the More Than Words short stories and the Harlequin Holiday Collection (which has always been free, these are stories originally published on the website). And the freebie first volumes of the 36 Hours series which Harlequin split into three parts trying to cash in on the seriel bandwagon.

Here are the actual Harlequin ones I saw with a quick browse. I did not include the More Than Words stories, as I think they were mentioned as free earlier in the thread. Or the 36 Hours part I "books".

It seems Amazon associates "Harlequin" with romances and listed every free title in that category.

Possible glitch.

I do see the M&B free titles also in Japanese.

NB: this may not actually be a romance itself, but just a heartwarming holiday tale that kind of ties into the author's dedicated horse-ranching romances. OTOH, it has this heart-shaped Xmas ornament dangling from the author's name on the cover, so I guess that kind of bodes well for the possibility of finding
