Hello everyone, need the KoboGlo original image too
Hello,

As some of you, my kobo glo is not bricked, but SD card is not readable on windows. I have to popup asking to format the drive. Don't know what to do, I can not upload books on the reader.

Could someone kindly send me an original kobo glo image (without S/N) ?

Assuming it is prompting to format the user partition where the books go, it is safe to let Windows do this. But, when you disconnect, it will need to do the setup again.

Alternatively, do a factory reset. One of the steps is to reformat the partition.

I have sent you an image, but one of the above should fix it. If it doesn't, you might want to try a different micro SD card.

many thanks for the link !
I have done a factory reset (multiple times), without luck.
I have also use the testdisk utility to fix FAT partitions on SDCARD, which worked once, and after a new plugin/plugout on windows, same thing, partition is not readable anymore.

I will try a new clean SD card with your factory image.

I might think it is a hardware problem related to the USB interface...
Might take it back to the store if the original image doesn't solve the problem.

I will post if I find anything interesting.

Well,

After restoring the original firmware image, the windows volume works again for 1 plugin/plugout, then windows ask for formating (formating is not possible and failed because it can't determine the filesystem size)

I will take it back to the store...

I would really appreciate it if someone could send me a link to get the SD Card dump for the internal SD on my Kobo Glo. It was corrupted somehow... thanks so much!

Can someone please send me a link to the image for the Kobo Glo?

Mine failed in doing an update and appears to be bricked. Factory reset stops at 'restoring'.

Ok, edit, i solve the problem, in other forum someone do a image to me, and i recover the kobo
