This morning, I've noticed Amazon dropping prices by a few dollars on several items. After checking other sites, it appears to be a response to Best Buy lowering their prices for CM.

I only bought a few things. Two 64GB sdxc cards (Amazon), an external USB battery charger (Radio Shack), and a small wireless Logitech keyboard on sale and 15% off (Staples).

Other than that, I really didn't find much that really interested me.

I hadn't planned on getting anything BF since all of my gifts were small ticket items and I got them earlier, but there were two excellent deals on Blu-ray movies that I jumped on and I got myself one slightly bigger ticket item. Couldn't resist the opportunity to save $117 on the HDX 7" that I've been eyeballing for quite a while. Now I get a major upgrade to my Kindle Fire HD 7" (2012) and my boyfriend gets the current device.

For everyone who has posted deals here (especially the SD Kindle savings strategy thread)

Which model of Sony did you have? I've owned a 600 and a T1. Loved my 600 until it died and I love my T1. I might have gotten a T3 if they'd marketed them in the US.

I'm kind of looking to see what my next reader might be, so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Aura (I was looking at the Aura HD at one point). I love the touch screen and physical page turn buttons. The Kindle Voyage actually has both as well as a front light, but I'm still open to other options.
