It downloads the mp3s to your music folder on Windows 8. They look to be in 320 bitrate.

Wohoo, I got 26 albums. I did have to sign up or in to the xbox whatever thingy to do the get free albums. Since I load everything I own to my amazon music cloud. I just imported it when I was done and I had to pick a folder called xbox to do that. So now all is in one place where I have everything.

Just an FYI, this works on Windows 10 Technical Preview too! So you could install that to a virtual machine and make a Windows Live account to sign in to get the albums free.

On the other hand, they have 2 new free albums:
Akon - Freedom
The Band Perry - The Band Perry

and possibly 2-3 new boxed sets (I'm not sure because I wasn't interested in most of them).

50 free now. one went up while I was trying to add them (a tedious and slow process here), but I never did see 100 free. The promo says there will be 100 discounted each week, though.
