I still go to the Echo page, want for it, and hope my invite's going to come in one of these waves. So far nothing. I can't remember when I requested mine, though, so maybe next week...or the week after...or the week after.

The letter stated that "Due to the high number of requests, invitations expire after seven days." (nine days in my case due to the holiday). The email was titled "Your Amazon Echo Is Ready to Purchase" with a link inside the letter.

Also mentioned in the short FAQ:

"Due to the overwhelming customer response, we've been able to fulfill only a small portion of the invitations requested, and Echo is limited to one per customer."

I ordered this morning and the two day delivery will be on Friday due to Thanksgiving.
