Well, the contest has started.

Canadian link, US link, UK link, as sent to me in email, since apparently just going to contest.kobo.com gives a "closed" message and kobo.com/contest defaults you to whatever country is closest to your actual IP.

That's strange on the UK site it's up to Game 2. So maybe the contest started and they forgot to tell people ....

Do we have to sign up again? I got the "Back to play?" box that asked for my email and password but it didn't work. Clicked on the "forgot password" link and entered my address to reset but was told "we don't recognize your email address". What gives? I always use my main address at Kobo and have not changed it recently.

I did not have to sign up again (a first!). I was able to use the same logins I used last time. O_O
I'm not sure why it's doing that to you.

I was even able to use my dummy logins as well.

Just tested another one and it told me it couldn't recognize it, and it seems that maybe that was a glitch or something. All the ones that it did let me log in with previously in this round still work so... *shrug*

Yep, you need to go through the whole sign up procedure again and the captcha is a pain, and the password is now 6 digits long with number, cap and lower case.

Nah, I got invalid password - which would be correct because I only ever used three characters for my password, and now they've changed it on the UK site to 6. So none of my previous log ons will work I dare say.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting now. It did work for a little bit, just seems they forgot to update the code or something. Not having to register each time would have been so nice, though.

For the first time ever, I didn't have to re-enter. All of my dummy accounts and my real accounts from last contest are good to go without re-entering data

US here.

I was able to log in without having to go through sign up process. My kids' addresses are working, too. So far got a bunch of 10%, one 20% and one 30%. Not happy at all :/

I got a 55% in 9 tries! I was able to use 3 of my accounts without re-registering and I registered 6 others that had easy captchas. It was a picture of numbers on a house. It then went to the mishapen ones I can't see well so I tried an audio one. There was so much static and mispronouncing I couldn't figure that out either. Maybe this is a way to weed out people registering too many accounts?
