The charity box set, Last Hero Standing, which includes 11 novels and novellas, many of which seem to be in various authors' established series (list is in the full description at the website blurb), is now the featured Kobo Deal of the Day (in Canada, at least). Still 99 cents, and presumably also in all the other stores, as well.

Blurb says it'll only be available for one month, and the publication date is October, so if you want it (and also want to help out the author) and don't already have it, now would probably be a good time to grab it.

I've already had the Kaylea Cross book (love the series, by the way), and I've just picked up Midnight Vengeance by Lisa Marie Rice. I hope it's good.

I have the Kaylea Cross books bet have yet to read any of them.

I had mixed feelings about Midnight Vengeance (gave it a C+). Midnight Man is still my favorite followed by Midnight Angel.

I haven't read the novella yet as it is only available at Amazon. It was at B&N, but doesn't appear to be so now. The author said it would be at Kobo and ARe, so I'm still waiting.

The first three books are still for sale from Ellora's Cave. So buying them now will depend upon how you feel about the lawsuit.
