You dont need anything special, the plugin type is auto-deduced from the base class. If you want your plugin listed, just let one of the mods know and an entry can be added for it to the index thread, then calibre should pick it up automatically.

I am fine with just adding editor plugins to the existing Index thread. That thread already lists plugins from all different parts of calibre.

I was not clear.
The thread breaks PI into sections (groups): GUI, Device, Metadata...

Your Scraper does not care about the Grouping?
