Thanks Sparklemotion. Hey ho. They took £30 off so yes, i am disappointed, but that's silly 'cos the PW 2 I have is a really good one and I'm on the road for the next few weeks, would have been back to collect it if it had arrived as it should but after that, away again until Christmas. So if they couldn't get it to me by next week, then there's no difference to me. I won't be there until 23rd Dec anyway.

Oh Oh Oh, guess what, trawwwwwling through endless pics of Voyage covers on Google images and your avatar is there, right at the bottom. Sophia Loren on a moped is forever associated in the great God Google's mind with Kindles, thanks to you.

Argos have them in some stores so that's an alternative route if you don't want to wait until December. I got mine from Argos.

The WiFi Voyage, which had been showing a delivery date of 16th December, has now changed to "Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months" again, so I suspect that people will be out of luck if they want one for Christmas delivery. The 3G model is still showing 16th December.

The thread is about the Voyage being out of stock at Amazon's UK site.

Plenty of Kindle Basic at Staples does not mitigate this in any way. There are some UK stores that do (or did) have Voyage in stock.

Amazon US has been out of stock on Voyage for even longer than the UK site. Some Best Buys have them, but none near me. I had read that Best Buy has an initial exclusive on the Voyage. It is exceedingly cruel to imply that plenty of US stores have them in stock when in fact they do not and more different chains stock them in the UK than the US.

Probably not of a great deal of relevance for someone who wants to buy one from Amazon UK, given that their nearest "Best Buy" is probably several thousand miles away.
