I love the Victorian era probably more then Regency. I have not read Milan I don't think. So I can't say it was me who put her in that category.

Will let you know. Thanks my Birthday is the 29th so it's an early present but because I celebrate the month as my birthday due to my birthday almost always falling right or on after Black Friday and everything gets sold out so I get everything early most of the time. I paid for this myself though. I did a really extensive panel that paid for 85% of it and the rest is Swagbucks.

I am reading ICED by Karen Marie Morning still. I still need to get my Holiday reads together. I'm looking for some cute ones with kids of course. We watch Miracle on 34th Street (Remake) last night so I want something like that. I got to tell you that is one remake they did right!

I bought 3 books last week. The new one from Catherine Spangler (ebook) that was posted here and two more hardbacks of Stephanie Plum from Ollies. This time 13 & 14. Each $3 for brand new. you cant beat that!

I'll let you all know how I like the KF6 when I get it. I can tell I can no longer read on the KF7 since it updated to Sangria without Screen Dim. So I hope the Kindle 6 isn't as bright at my KFHD7 is now.

Oh Lollipop is asking to be installed on my N7 but after my problem with KF7 I'm scared to update till I hear more feedback.

Congratulations! My only negative I've discovered thus far is that it's sometimes sluggish when I press "home" and it takes a while for the screen to populate. I hope you love it as much as I do.

I really wish Amazon would allow notes on titles, so I could say "read" if looking at something on Overdrive before I manage to check it out again, or recommended by so & so. I only need 25 characters per book at the most.

I am waiting too. I learned the lesson from last time

For the brightness thing, have you tried "Display Brightness". I use that one on my Nexus and phone. It has negative brightness so goes darker than the device brightness. I like that there is a volume bar you can put anywhere to change the brightness right from the book.

Thanks It seems to go dimmer without messing with contrast. I can play my game again.

Yes, I like that. Even on dimmer settings I still need the contrast, if that makes sense. The negative brightness was a recent update to the app so its nice. Even the Nexus can be a bit bright for me at night. I have light sensitive eyes when it gets dark. I am good with like -5 or so. I set that as the minimum negative value so all I have to do is drag the bar all the way down at night.
