Yep, after looking through again (and again, lol!) I think you're no doubt quite right ... the India and US site show the same books. At least though one can use discount codes on all the books from the India store. (I hear what you're saying - none of your books are part of this sale.)

As Murg said, the Teddy Bear's picnic is perhaps only an Aus thing. It's a children's ditty with a wonderful tune, and it's all about teddy bears and that you never know what you might find in the woods.

(Just to confuse you further, we don't have 'woods' in Aus, we've got 'bush'. )

Yes there is a list of books, but the code is unlimited on that list. It is valid in ALL territories however, which is a bit new.

I know other people have mentioned this, but I thought I'd add some confirmation: I've just used SAV50 for 50% again. I definitely used it earlier in the year, and it was a one-time code, but it seems to have reset somehow in the months since then.

I'm in the UK, and I used it on UK books both times. I think.

Edit: Actually, that last bit is not true, and I wonder if that's the key. I previously used it on an "excursion" to the US, on March 25th.

I just travelled to Canada and used perkopolis, which worked - yay! Paid $2.76 CAN or $2.44 US (that's how much I pay in the US anyway). I am sure there is going to be 0.2c in international transaction fees. Still worth it! Going back, for I am greedy! Gonna test SAV50 now. I used it in May and it didn't reset for me in the States (yet, at least).
