Couldn't find any way to filter out samplers, though.

Awesome! Just picked up 5 books for $1.40, 3 of which have been on my wishlist for a couple of years. Thank you!

To help my search i went to the first book, selected the imprint (random house Australia, not just random house), and sorted by price. I also selected each genre of interest separately because of all the kids books. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for posting this info.

For Australians, the Aus site shows normal price. You'll need to be in the US or CA sites.

I also bought a refurbished Kobo Glo. But after using the JUSTFORYOU ($40 discount) and PERKOPOLIS (10% device discount) codes I got the Kobo Aura for 86.32 canadian dollars. I think I will resell my Glo.

I wish I could say that.
I saw nothing of interest in sci-fi and fantasy section.

I've never had a CC on record with Kobo -- and they will not accept either of mine. Keeps coming back with "Can't fulfill request at this time. Try again later" (or something like that). I've tried both Chrome and Firefox. I don't normally have these issues with my credit cards. Ah well, that SF trilogy seemed like a good deal (trying to get my kids to read more), but I can live without it.

Yes. And then I tried US site, and it's the same books.
Usual crappy paranormal romance, YA vampire shite with under 100 reviews on Goodreads. I loath those. No epic, no urban, no dark, no sword and sorcery type of fantasy books.

I don't get your joke with teddy bears at all, but I'm happy you found so many for yourself Not teddy bears. Books.

I just wish I could say the same, but alas they always give "wrong" kind of fantasy books in these deals for me.

Let me know if you do see something. I scanned the US selection and didn't see much, but there were so many samples and the like that I got tired of looking by page 4. I saw a lot of romance and lit stuff, but I think I only saw one fantasy.

Oh, sorry, just saw this and didn't realize you had already perused the entire list.

They do have Joe Nassise in some of the sales although not this one--you MIGHT like it. It is UF, but it's noir. The first is free so that makes it easy to test. http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebook/the-heretic His other stuff is epic and is usually too dark for me. I do read dark here and there, but not often.

Also in darker UF (Can't remember if there are vamps. Maybe, but they are not nice guys if so) is The Man Who Crossed Worlds by Chris Strange. Coupons work with his stuff. I thought it was a very good read if on the dark side for me. Coupons work. There's a second one out too. I own it but haven't read it yet.

I also liked http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebo...glass-monsters Stained Glass Monsters, but I think it will be too light for you. It's epic fantasy, but it's just the one book so far as I have seen and you might find the ending a bit too happy/pat. I enjoyed it thoroughly, of course, but you might find it lightweight.

I don't see the real cheap prices here. Am I doing something wrong? Also these are not couponable and the other list is.
