I just called the above number and was one of the first 200 callers. They stated I will be emailed a code for a free audible credit within 24 hours. This is through TravelZoo. They will need an email address to send code to.
It worked ofr me this time !

Well, 4 minutes won't fill up much of a commute, but it will likely present you with 4 minutes of fun. For those of you who have enjoyed Sam Jackson reading "Go the F**k to Sleep," we have a sequal. You can get "You Have to F--king Eat" by Adam Mansbach and read by Brian Cranston (any "Breaking Bad" fans?) here from Audible. Don''t know how long it will last, so don't delay.

Heads up, those of you down under. In case you didn't notice Audible set up a site for you, similar to the uk version (among others). If you sign up, Audible has a 3-book set for you free of charge (here). One catch: you can't set it up in addition to your regular Audible account; you'll have to transfer your account and all of your titles. This is similar to what Amazon did earlier this year with the uk Kindle store - you can no longer have both, to open one you have to transfer your account and all of your titles.

I'm the same way - I still use both of my accounts. I even set up my .uk account at the suggestion of an Audible CS rep. This seems to be a new trend. It would have been nice to pick up some of those Whispersync titles when the rolled it out in the UK, but I admit I wimped out.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I find it hard to believe that Tantor, one of the few companies with its own download service, chose to release this freebie only through Audible and not their own site. Didn't make much sense to me but I'm not in the business so what do I know.

The sequel to Brandon Sanderson's Legion is available for pre-order, and is currently listed as free, over at Audible. If the title sounds at all familiar, the original short story was also free from Audible a couple of years ago. It is due to be released on November 24 and I don't know if it will be free after that (heck I don't even know if it will be free tomorrow) so don't wait long to go here to get if you're interested.

King Solomon's Mines is Audible's deal of the day. I think it's $3.95, but I can no longer tell, since I bought I just bought it for $.99 as a Whipsersync deal. The Amazon book is free. So the total is just $.99 and it should count as one of the four books needed for the $10 coupon credit deal this month.
