So, will Norton walk/run in circles around you, while you bike to nowhere?

I just looked at those too, and wound up getting a different unit. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004O6TXVS/ Which is ALMOST not useable when you are 5'3". The pedals don't move any closer than that height, but with a pillow behind my back it works.

We got Norton when he was only 3 months old. He took right to us. The only fear he ever exhibited was that for the first several years we had him, he was terrified of riding in cars. Makes me wonder what happened in those first 3 months. He's not aggressive with other dogs, either, but he does want to mount everyone he sees, regardless of gender, and some take offense to that. He doesn't exhibit the "I'm tough" small dog compensatory behavior, perhaps because his first pal was a gentle Pit Bull.

I just packed my craft tote for next week. I suspect it might be heavier than my suitcase is going to be, and that's without my journalling card stash, which will be divided between my notebook backpack and my suitcase.

Watching all the fireworks and hot air balloons going up all over the Old City and beyond. The sky is filled with little dots of light slowly rising and drifting off. It really is beautiful.

Tired after a busy day in the store. But it was a good type of busy, where the time flies and customers are easy (last Saturday we had customer who didn't listen, that makes time crawl).

I'm now trying to decide what movie I want to watch. I think I might be in the mood for a horror, but I don't want anything too scary otherwise I don't want to go to the toilet during the night

I'm doggy-sitting currently--a beautiful, half pitbull named Precious. And she definitely is precious. If she was my doggy, I'd spoil her with love and turkey bacon. lol

And the Christmas music is still blaring from my neighbor's radio... Ugh, when my sister, her husband and Precious leave to Arizona this evening, I'm blasting my classical music!

Waiting for the dryer to finish so I can put the last laundry in. I also just packed the food I already bought (tomorrow morning I'll get the fresh stuff), my baking stuff and my knives (I'm taking two because I know the ones in the apartment are kinda dull). Tomorrow I won't leave until after 2pm and knowing myself I'll be wide awake by 7am, so I have more than enough time to pack tomorrow morning.

I'm really looking forward to spending almost a week on my own, my sister will visit on Sunday. The only plans I've made is to bake a lot cookies, go into the town of Harderwijk on Tuesday and start making an album with the pictures I took in Dublin.

I've just about settled into the vacation apartment. I only need to make my bed and put my clothes away.

I love this apartment, it's got great views over the water but it isn't very overlooked by other apartments or by people walking along the water. The only thing I dislike is the lighting, which is rather dim (as most holiday apartments/cottages I've been to). The previous two times in this apartment I had my Aura HD with lighting, but now I'm using my Kindle non-touch (I just couldn't get along with the Aura HD and its quirks) and I now notice it's a lot more difficult to read without the front lighting.

Making a new printer stand. I just had bulk tanks installed today (it took 10 minutes for them to do the job) and I want to make a slightly larger base for the whole unit. I was really getting tired of paying cartridge prices... $37.00 US through Amazon for the color cartridge alone. Today I paid $12.00 US (400 Thai Baht) for the tank, installation, and first filling of all the colors plus black. I don't know why I held off this long. Most of my friends have been using the bulk tanks for years now, with no problems.

One printer cartridge holds roughly 50ml of ink and costs about $35-$40 for my printer.
One 100ml bottle of ink costs $3.00 and will refill the tank two times.

For $12 I can buy all four pigments. Quite a savings, and the print quality is 'almost' as good as Canon's own ink, if I buy the good stuff for $3.00. I can get the discount brand for about $2.50 a bottle. The blacks are just as rich and black as the name-brand ink, but the colors aren't quite as accurate. Good enough for 99% of my needs these days, but I wouldn't try to 'sell' photos printed with this ink. I'm sure it would turn yellow in less than 10 years and fade.

Waiting for the second batch of gingerbread cookies to bake and trying not to eat from the first batch. They came out great (if I say so myself). I have got a smallish baking tray so I still have enough cookie dough for another two or three batches.

Staying away from home tonight at the company flat in London. Just down the road is a pub/restaurant which is just about to reopen after a change of hands and a refit. In order to train their staff before they open properly, tonight was a by invitation only night where all food and drink was totally free. We managed to get hold of some invitations, so I've just got back from an entirely free night out with food and drink.

Very nice!

Cool! Did the new staff do well? Was the food up to par? I imagine it's harder to mess up drinks.
