Just got it! It was also confusing because Chrome did not display the offer info on goodreads. Probably because of some ad blocker extention. I had to use Firefox.

I'm not looking for a list of the least expensive Kindle books which have Whispersyncs. I know how to generate a list of them.

I am wanting to conduct an experiment. I want to try to match up the least expensive Whispersync audiobooks with Kindle ebooks that I can check out from the libraries where I have borrowing privileges. Amazon considers borrowed Kindle ebooks as purchases, so I don't pay for them. Therefore, whatever the cost of the Whispersync audiobook is, that is the total of how much I would have to pay for the audiobook. This seems like it would be a way of ferreting out some really good audiobook bargains.

I haven't found a way to do it yet. Everything I've tried before only lists the ebooks. This is something I've always wanted.

Amazon has two lists along this line, but they're small:

• $0.99 - Selected Classics (104 titles) --> incl A Tale of Two Cities
• SALE - Reduced Price Audiobooks (92 titles) --> incl The Litigators

The first one consists of public domain classics. The ebooks are free and the matching Whispersync audiobooks are $0.99 each.

The second list contains ebooks ranging in price from $0.00 to $13.99 and the matching Whispersync audiobooks are $3.95 or less.

Strange thing: the great majority of the Whispersync's that I checked (about 20 or so) on the second list are $3.95. I'm greedy--I want a better price than that! haha. I wonder why Amazon chose these particular titles.

I might contact Amazon and see if they will expand the second list--a lot.

There's a way, but it's painful, not easy, and will require a LOT of patience. Most of the Whispersync titles are in specific price categories at increments of $0.50 - $0.49, $0.99, etc. ($3.95 is mostly an exception.) If you use this search in Google:

"reduced price of $0.99" site:www.amazon.com

You can get a set of books at that price. It's not too bad on the $0.99 price range, but as you start to move up it is almost impossible to make heads sense of what is out there without a large time investment.

Unfortunately, I am allergic to pain and have no patience. Just kidding (I think). haha

I've used that type of Google search numerous times. It's great. I find all kinds of things that way, including book bargains. But, I didn't think about the possibility of using it for this.

I just tried it out. It's got possibilities! It is very labor-intensive, there's a lot of manual sorting that's still required. I've tried it out a little ways with the 99 cent books. There were lots and lots of public domain books at the beginning.

I was hoping for a deal like this...open to people who were not current "members" rather than NEW members. Just about every Amazon Local deal I haven't qualified for...somehow I got a 2 credit trial from my new kindle fire 6 but the latest code with cancel and try new code didn't work and of was out again.

I hope the two purchases I made earlier this month count toward listener reward coupon but if not I'm glad to have 3 months at a discount. Yippee!!
