Installation is no different from PB 622/626 etc. Just unzip into the internal memory the following archive. Tricky part is extensins.cfg. It should be edited if present or created. link to the ready extensions.cfg file. It should be placed into system/config or system/<profile name>/config folder depending on whether profiles are used or not.

well, not really. I can not change the fonts, although they are in the system/fonts, but I can change them in adobe, and, it seems to me, that are too few choices, if I compare ti what I can find on the version I had on aura HD, or on onyx 68 Last edited by babadockia; 11-06-2014 at 01:16 PM. |

Ty for your answer.
Some Czech guy (if I'm not mistaken ) on YouTube made a review about inkpad. Luckily he could speak English. I asked him to compare text and front light quality to paperwhite 2. He said paperwhite was superior in both. However I have doubts about it. Can anyone confirm if that is the case or otherwise? |

I am no expert on the front lighting technology, but I can imagine that getting even lighting over larger areas might require a layer that is not as clearly transparent as for smaller areas. So, it may not be a fair comparison between 6" and 8" ereaders.

I've got it, the f***er!!! In the upper right corner are really, really, little, tiny arrows which will take you to the next page of the option. What I was doing, was that I tried to flicker with the finger from left to right, from right to left, from up to down and viceversa. But, no! Those molecular arrows count. Thank you for the help, peeckaboo!
Now I have a perfectly usable reading. And, again, it has a beautiful screen, the light, which I don't use it that often is quite even, but of course, with a tint of blue and when on minimum, is less bright than on Onyx 68. People are asking about this device how does it look like comparing to kindle or something else? Who cares? Who would go back from reading on a 8" screen to that screen for hobbits? |

I had a 6", a 6.8", but nothing compares with an 8". I am talking here about typograghy, about margins, about the length of a text line, you know, what makes a book look, if not perfect, good.
