ACcase received from DHL
Warrning: I had to sign for it! Shipped DHL express from Hong Kong.
Quick test: auto wake works, magnet keeps it closed, nice soft PU. Very clean cut for back power button, integrated with the back plastic case. Might be a few mm thicker because back case is not as flat as origami case. But, I do like the folio form better. |

In what way can it damage the system? It is doesn't work, it doesn't work, but I honestly don't see how it could damage anything.

If really warped I would put a heavy book on top of empty case overnight to flatten it. Mine fits fine. |

Tried it twice before I wrote my comment. It is definitely warped.

The CS she spoke to told her the Active Content most probably corrupted her Voyage system. If it is true, it would be important for the users to know.

Well Mickey, as someone pointed out somewhere - useful huh?! - the extra margins would mean better protection if you dropped it, while cover closed of course and if it fell on the edge. Hope you get a Voyage that isn't on the blink.

I just received the Fintie smart shell--it's very, very thin, sleep function works great, the cover stays shut with the magnet, there is a hole for the power button, I really like it, especially for the price.
I was going to send the Voyage back because of the screen, but I like the device so much otherwise I may keep it, depending on how much I like the H20. May end up keeping them both. |

Love the Omoton pics. I have a Fintie on the way, though after going through 6 devices, I decided to send them all back. I'll keep the case and may try the KV again in the spring, if there are any improvements on the screen by then.

My Fintie smartshell cover (navy color) arrived yesterday. Love it!
It's reasonably light, well made and the auto-wake/sleep works perfectly. I have the Amazon origami cover, which works well too. I'll keep the Fintie because I prefer kindle covers that open like a book (left/right vs up/down). Edited to add: The navy-colored Fintie cover is beautiful, it's actually a darker blue than the photo on Amazon depicts. Last edited by geekaren; 11-06-2014 at 07:32 AM. |

I am a fan of the Fintie cases and bought a Folio for my PW2014. Looking at the Fintie options for the Voyage, I like how the folio case has cutouts where the page press sensors are... which seem like they would guide your fingers in the dark. It may not be a big deal, but looks like it could be helpful.
That being said, I like the Fintie smartshell too. If I had elected to keep my Voyage, I would be hard-pressed to choose between the two. My black Acase was delivered the other day. Still sits in the original shipping container and I haven't opened it. Anyone want to buy it? ![]() |

For some reason the Omoton case is never sold over here so just in case I ever get a Voyage I've popped the Fintie into my wish list

I got my red Amazon cover in the mail yesterday. The color is very pretty, and the quality very nice. Although I think it is overpriced.
I will have to try it out for a few days. I wish rather than being a tray that the back was more like a shell all around the reader sides. I would prefer that it was a side-folio style, but I guess the top-notepad style is ok. I wish that they had a plain, non-origami style. I still don't like the button on the back of the Voyage. It is really annoying to have to struggle with the magnetic cover folded on the back when you want to wake up the Kindle. During a long reading session you want to take breaks, and it is so much easier to leave the cover open and press a button on the bottom to wake it up! |
