I'm sorry they wouldn't help with the PW2 as to the Voyage my guess is they know they have an issue but don't know how to resolve it so they've instructed CS to make out its a feature not a fault.

^ you are probably right, but what a shoddy way to respond to these issues in such an expensive reader!

Attached is a picture of the current 4 devices I have here at the moment, all at light setting 14. They don't look as extreme IRL, but the colors are all there, and you can see that they are all multicolored.

They look extreme to me, viewed on my Nexus 7. 3rd from the left is not too bad. A bit green, maybe.

Personally I rarely find good Amazon CS nowadays. Half the time they don't listen or even understand the problem

All this talk of bad screens on the Voyage and everything that people on here have been going through trying to get a good Voyage makes me feel guilty for getting a beautiful one on the first try.

It really sucks for you guys....because when it's right, this is a beautiful piece of technology and reading on it is fantastic. It's pure joy.

And worth every penny of it's $200 price tag.

Dreadful honestly. I feel so sorry for you. Anyone can see those screens are horrible. 200.00 for uneven screens with color hues? $220.00 if you remove ads. I mean, come on. What do they take us for? I feel it's really taking advantage of people. It makes me angry.

And you are not the first person that was told that the two toned screen is normal. There's been a couple other people on here that were told the same thing.

I'm glad for those that received ones they are happy with, but it's unfair that others are having to go through this luck of the draw, shoddy quality, especially for a so-called premium product.

That's it exactly isn't it. Remember they did something similar with the PW1. Even changing some of the wording & photos to show how a 'normal' PW1 should look, instead of the very even, shadow-free lighting their pictures previously showed.

They should just admit they are having issues with variances in the light quality in some of them and if you are unhappy just return it for a refund. This kind of rubbish just makes people who are already frustrated a little angry.

Meanwhile for those who have a great looking device, just enjoy it. Although some people might be disappointed with their own experience, it doesn't mean you need to feel guilty.
