That's the route I'm going. Received it yesterday. Waiting for my H20. I use Amazon Basics sleeves and laptop bags. Have them in different sizes. Well made and ridiculously low priced for the quality.

While I'm waiting for the cheap clip in covers to become available I've ordered this leather pouch - it's meant for the iPad Mini but it should fit.

This is what I'm using until my Gecko cover comes. I like the zip pocket for my USB cord and Chapters/Kobo gift cards.

Based on the internal dimensions in the Amazon listing for the 7" it should be a perfect fit. Was the 7" just too snug a fit, or did it not fit at all? Looking to get the same sleeve.

That's what I thought when I ordered the 7". The L x W are fine and fit nicely but problem is the corners. The Amazon Basic has quite large corner radii while the H2O has much smaller corner radii making the diagonal fit very tight. I was able get the 7" zipped but it was tight, somewhat hard to get zipped up and corners bulged out. It would work but was not ideal and not what I wanted to live with every day. The 8" is only slightly larger but provides a comfortable fit. I just kept the 7" and am going to store my PW2 in it.

Out of the blue today I received a replacement cover from Gecko which fixes the problem of the sleep magnet being too strong and turning off the H2O when the cover is folded back. It seems to work fine now. I like this cover very much.

Very nice! It's great companies stand behind their products and send out replacements when issues are fixed. I had a similar experience with a Poetic case.

I bought the original Kobo sleepcover and it turns the reader off when folded all the way back. Since I always put fingers inbetween anyway to hold it I don't care, but to others it may be an issue.

I have the kobo H2O sleepcover as well and have not seen this issue.

Hmm.. mine doesn't have this issue. I also don't put my fingers in between mine. I'm glad it's of no consequence to you, but a shame nonetheless. Do you think it may be a sign you need to return it and get a new colorful cover? The red gecko cover, perhaps?

I received my cover and the sleep function works very well. Folding the cover back does not trigger sleep. I like the gecko logo. My only nitpick is that the window around the screen could have been 1mm bigger on the left side. Other than that, I am really happy with the cover.

I have the Kobo H2O sleepcover & mine is not exhibiting this behavior at all. If anything, the magnetism slightly too weak.

That actually is a bigger problem for me than the magnet thing. I'm getting a replacement from gecko right now. If that 1mm is still as big as on the first cover I received from them I will have to find another cover. That 1mm covers the screen a bit and that doesn't work for me as I read without margins on the side and relatively small fontsizes.

The new cover is no different to the old in that respect; the only change appears to have been in the magnet.
