Yes, and clever of them to have a $4.95 audiobook as the whispersync freebie in the month they offer a B4G10. That way they don't have angry penny pinchers beating down their door demanding their credit.

This is a great way to get qualifying books for the Buy 4, Get $10 promo. Remember, the regular price of the book must be $14.95 and up. It doesn't matter what you paid for it. Note that not every book in that sale meets the price minimum, so pay attention.

I've been looking for it too, I turned off adblock still nothing tried different browsers nada. I think they have taken it away.

How do the first two audiobooks differ from or compare to all of the audiobooks of The Call of the Wild and Northanger Abbey that are floating around or pop up from time to time? The answer is . . . I dunno.

The Nexos freebees are incomplete versions of the complete novel. I'm just going by the amount of time which nowhere near completes any of those novels.

Northanger Abbey is the only one of the two that's abridged. Call of the Wild is unabridged.

I've known about this service for quite a while now. I've decided to post it now because the information may be especially helpful to those who are trying to come up with 4 Audible audiobooks to buy in order to get the $10 credit from them in their current promotion.

The website is AudioBooks Discounted.com. They have a novel (novel to me, at least) approach for finding and passing along audiobook deals. Their modus operandi is to find and pass along information about Kindle books that are very inexpensive and have very inexpensive Whispersync audiobook companions to go along with them. The resulting total price that a person pays for an audiobook is still low, even though the person has to buy an ebook to get it. Get it?

Here's an example, which is in effect right now. The Kindle ebook The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, by Edmund Morris, is marked down to $1.99 now. The Whispersync (running 26 hours and 40 minutes!) is only $3.99. When you do the math, the cost to have the audiobook is $5.98 ($1.99 + $3.99). And you get the ebook, too.

The website has about a dozen new deals like that every day (I gave a non-fiction example above, but the majority of the selection each day is fiction). The price of the deals for the ebook+audiobook combinations usually run from about $3.98 to $5.98 each.

If you are thinking of getting one or more deals to help you get the 4 audiobooks that you need for the Audible promotion, please remember that the regular price of each audiobook must be $14.95 or more. The regular price of some of the audiobooks on the AudioBooks Discounted website may not be $14.95 or more.

You can get daily emails from AudioBooks Discounted to let you know of the new deals that are posted, if you don't want to have to check the website every day. Amazon has two different collections that pair up for low pricing. They're linked in the OP:

• $0.99 - Selected Classics (104 titles)
• $3.95 - Reduced Price Audiobooks (92 titles)

The first one involves public domain books. You buy the free Kindle version and pair it up with a $0.99 Audible version. There are currently 104 titles available. Amazon pulls from this collection for the free monthly Whispersync pair.

The second collection contains 92 titles and is more expensive. The Kindle books range in price from $0.00 to $15.22. Approximately half of those titles are under $8.00. The matching Audible titles are $3.95 or less.
