In the past, these lists/codes would work on any promo eligible book--but the last list, they meant exactly that list. Sometimes they mean that and sometimes they don't. I believe it has to do with who is paying for the promo--the author/publisher or kobo (or both entities via an agreement of some kind). Kobo does have general coupons (like perkopolis) that work on any promo eligible book. They pay for that discount so far as I know. Some of the lists/promos are paid for by publishers/authors.

The last list they sent out had three lists and there was a different coupon for EACH list and that coupon worked ONCE in the given list and nowhere else. That meant that if book 2 in a series was on sale, unlike some coupons, you couldn't use the coupon on both book 1 AND book 2. Just book two.

This one is already a little less restrictive, but the list of books is smaller. I don't know if the coupons will work outside the lists. You can't tell that until you try the coupon on a "normally promo eligible book" but gradually it seems that these sales stick to the lists only.

Sorry, I didn't notice that there was a specific list of books for the unlimited code. And it does seem to work already on that list although it's not weekend yet, and only on those books. Unfortunately there's nothing in the list that remotely interests me.

I checked some on the list and they were all kepub.

Worth keeping in mind if you:

1. Don't have a Kobo.
2. Don't want to use the Kobo app.
3. Don't want to in some way manipulate your purchases to make them readable on another device.

I did try it on a book not in the list and it seemed to work (book is eligible for promo codes usually). So if you know of a book that normally would qualify it might be worth checking. But then, if you have a 75 percent off code from the contest, that would work better...not that I've seen one of those yet!

Today when I went to the page a second time (and then, a third) I was able to play again. On the other hand, I now have three 20% coupons that I don't expect to use, so I don't know if I'll spend much time on it.

I'm not going in and out of the page -- I just click again and I get a new coupon. I did get a few high ones -- 1 75%, 3 65% and 2 55%

I also got this very strange code for 20% - -the code was 8.66+E9 -- i have never seen punctuation in a KOBO coupon code before - -and that's 7 instead of 6 digits - -really weird.
