These stores are outside the scope of this thread, which is why they aren't listed on the front page. For each listing, I'll provide links to the store, ad scan, and start times for BF sales (when available).

Off-Topic Deals -- I don't mind if you point out deals in non-book categories and a little back and forth discussion; but if further discussion is needed, please PM the members involved. Remember, the primary focus of this thread is book-related technology.

IMPORTANT -- If you plan to shop at any of these stores, I strongly recommend you download the ad scans now. There is always the possibility that a store will issue a take down notice. When such notices are issued, BF blogs will pull the ads and you'll no longer have access to them.

Thanks anyway, but I can no longer tell the difference. My taste buds have a mind of their own these days. I used to be able to tolerate really hot Mexican dishes, but not anymore. Even milder ones burn my mouth. The joy of eating is nearly gone.

Maybe you should try changing your toothpaste. I used Sensodyne Pronamel for years before suddenly having a problem with spicy foods. I didn't figure out it was the toothpaste until I went on vacation and used Sensodyne Fresh Impact instead. I could eat spicy foods again!

Wishlist -- I need a set of cheap flashdrives, at least 2GB each, say 10 or so.

For formatting as linux LiveUSBs, since unfortunately my handful of 1GB flashdrives are becoming obsolete. Really annoying when for example Linux Mint is 1.1 GB. What the heck are these people thinking???</rant>

Don't forget, Amazon Prime members have a new perk -- Prime Early Access -- which allows members a 30-minute early access to select Lightning Deals and daily sales events at MyHabit; and that includes Black Friday deals.

For those of you who aren't Prime members, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial. This trial is only for those who have never had Prime before. If you've had Prime before, the sign-up will reject you. You might be able to get customer service to allow you another 30-day trial, but that's definitely a YMMV type of thing.

My advice is to wait before starting your 30-day trial until after 07 Nov. The reason for that is Cyber Monday. Last year's best Lightning Deals were during CM week. If that holds true this year, CM should run from 30 Nov to 06 Dec.
