I can get these on my Panasonic Blu-ray, but sometime in the past year the interface for Amazon changed and it really sucks. For only $20 I figure it may be worth it. I always wondered if they changed it to get people to buy Fire TV.

We've replaced most of those old things with flat screen TVs with HDMI ports. Black Friday is a good time to pick up a 32" TV. Amazon has had them for BF. I've got one more TV I'd like to replace, but it's in the guest room, so no hurry.

Mine says December 23rd delivery date, even though the site says available November 19th. I'm guessing either they have that many pre-orders, or they're covering themselves well to not miss a specified shipping date.

We have a tv in the bedroom that is rarely used, but at $20, I figured it's worth it even if we use it only a couple times a year. My delivery date was 12/24.

Amazon's delivery dates on delayed items are generally "worst case scenario" dates. I expect you will get it quicker than 12/23.

Thanks. I've looked at the comparisons, but the differences mostly seem to be in the technical specs, which are kind of meaningless to me. I have a smart TV, and a Roku box on the other TV, plus wi-fi Blu-ray players. I watch Amazon Prime video and YouTube, but have no paid subscriptions, but I went ahead and ordered this thingy anyway because of the price. I may cancel before the ship date (December 19 for me), depending on what folks say about it after using it.
