Yes, I far prefer it to the Odyssey cover.

As I explained earlier in the thread, the shielding material has to be ferromagnetic, so aluminium foil wouldn't work.

I've wrapped the metal in a paper tissue to stop it from scratching.

My Gecko cover has now been shipped, after being delayed to fix "a technical problem". I'm assuming that any Gecko H2O cover ordered now would not have this issue. I'll confirm when I receive it.

Since the H2O is waterproof, I found a Caterpillar slipcover.. Which makes it fall and (since the kobo itself is, waterproof!

of course the 7 inch version, which I can not find online...

Very lovely cover! thereby good protection when not in use!

I just got an email this morning from Gecko saying they're shipping me a replacement cover which fixes the problem of the strong magnet and awkwardness changing the brightness, now that's what I call good customer service!

As a guess since you have to run the finger up / down the left hand edge of the screen to change the brightness, if the cover was too close to the left edge it would make it challenging.

Ah, OK. I change the brightness using the slider in the top menu area, and the cover doesn't affect that.

Yep, that's the problem I had. I'm impressed by the speed they've fixed the issues, I hadn't even asked for a replacement case, just let them know about them.

I always used to on my Glo and Aura but have got into the habit of using the side of the screen as it feels like less hassle and more immediate response one handed.

The side slide was added in a very recent f/w; maybe 3.5 oe 3.8; I forget exactly which one (and it works on the Glo too).

Nice! I wonder if they fixed the issue about folding the H20 cover back and having it turn the device off.
