Actually I think there is a minor issue with the USB device ID being not being in the 1.48 driver.
Davidfor does have some ideas about this... expect him to chime in in a few hours. |

The extended driver is a slightly more complicated. The kepub output plugin will work with 1.48. That can be used to convert epubs to kepubs and then send them. Doing it that way gives you most of the function in the driver. If the extended driver is really needed, it can probably be done as well. |

I ordered a H20 from Kobo today but didn't ship yet. Free shipping. I tried the Kindle Voyage but screen was two toned and I retuned it right away. I'm thinking I'm going to really like the larger screen.
Originally I didn't want to convert files but really dont think it will be a problem. |

The eBook Reader has a review comparing the Voyage and the H2O.

Not sure it's a defective behaviour but it seems to me the power button's functionalities are a bit borked.
In the user manual it says 2 secs push to turn it on, just a quick press for standby and a prolonged one to switch it off. Well to me it's more like standby and power off cycle themselves with no chance to go one way or the other according to press lenght. Basically: I'm reading, I press pow button for *a while* (way more than 2 secs) and it goes into standby, then I switch it back on, I keep reading, I push pow button again for few secs, it switches off. Next time, it'll go into standby, time afer that it'll switch off..... short press simply does nothing. Is it normal? ![]() Last edited by johnnystuff; 10-25-2014 at 12:31 PM. |
