Supposed to be chilly-to-downright cold this weekend, and then rainy for the rest of the week. Could be worse, though. Best wishes for the folks in Bermuda.

Hailstorms all around us, but somehow our little patch of Perth has been spared so far. Which is good, because last time we got whacked, hard, with a fair bit of damage.

It's been the warmest 18 November in ninety years. In the inner city it was 23 Celsius, where it would normally be 13 or 14 Celcius.

Woke up this morning to a brisk 42F. Fall finally seems to be inching in and it is heaven. We have had perfectly clear skies and cool temps for 3 days now. The warmest it is supposed to be all week is 70F.

Yep, we had our first hard freeze last night. The high temps were right around 60 deg. F, where they should stay for the week. Although there's a good chance of rain every day up to the weekend.

Us too. So it was exactly the weather that Terry Pratchett was describing, when I read "Maskerade" yesterday:

Back and forth between bright sun and clouds, and cool. A nice autumn day. No rain, so far, but the odds will be going up from here.

Very similar down here in the sunny south. It has been breezy with a high of 60F thus far. We are due a slight uptick in temps (70s) in the early part of next week, but it seems we have at least put the 80+ degree weather behind us.
