At least in my experience, there is no truly spotless, flawless, perfectly even ereader-screen out there... feel free to prove me wrong, though.
I'm curious what issues your H20 suffers from?

My H2O has some mildly distracting shadow thingies that are cast from the leds (I can see them at every light level), I enhanced it greatly in photoshop to bring it out so you can see - because they don't show up on a regular photo. See the dark spots on the sides? I only really notice those in a dimly lit room but they do distract somewhat... In daylight or in evening light it looks very, very even and nice and 'creamy'. It's probably just something inherent to the technology anyway so I do my best to not let it bother me. (It doesn't help my eyes are very sensitive to light!)

How does one go about getting an Aura H2O in the USA? I looked at Futureshop but from what I can see they only ship to Canadian addresses.

Thanks

Same question here, thanks for asking for me! I wouldn't mind seeing one in person. Are they ever going to be available in brick and mortar stores? Last Kobo I saw was at a Borders.

Thanks. I'm not familiar with Chapers. Have you found them to be dependable? What kind of shipping times have you experienced to the USA?

I ordered from kobo.com in the US. Only issue I had is apparently a universal one, they never emailed me a tracking number. However my Kobo shipped on the 2nd and arrived on the 6th. Not bad there.

I can't speak to their shipping time to the USA but I've purchased several Kobos from them both in store and online. Their shipping was on time and their web page showed tracking up to "parcel delivered" with the usual gaps where the parcel evidently sat for a while.

I’m in the US and I pre-ordered from Chapters/Indigo on Tuesday, September 30 (the official release day was Wednesday, October 1). They didn’t send any tracking info but it arrived Friday, October 3. I'm very happy with it.

Has anyone seen hands-on video reviews (in English) other than those done by Goodereader? I did a search and didn't come up with anything.

They are very dependable and give more info on shipping than Kobo does. Usually items get to me in about a week.
