I tried several times, but due to glare and focus problems I just wasn't getting good pictures, but here you go.

Light at 1, 13, 24.

I tried too. Even without it turned on the glare is bad.

I have seen photos of a lot of them now on various different boards and so far not a single one doesn't have the yellow at the top and the cooler bottom. I'd love to see one that doesn't have it, but not holding my breath at this point.

Thanks for posting pictures. The last one is the most telling (clearly whiter at the bottom of the screen, with a slight tinge of green in the top middle). Your pictures aren't the greatest (sorry, I appreciate the effort, though!). So it's clear to me at least, - some people aren't bothered by varying temperatures of their screens.

I will honestly swear to you that IRL I see no difference at all on my device. I can clearly see the difference in your pictures.

I think the top looks darker in my photos because of the way the camera was pointed, and the yellowish glare from the overhead lights hitting the top of the photo more.

Agreed. Not a single one is how it should be (for that kind of money). It's the most telling when people post pictures and say, "Look, it's uniform!" when to you, me, and others - it's obviously not.

If it were possible to get a uniform Voyage, I'd maybe keep trying, but... alas.

I absolutely believe you in real life you don't see it. It's NOTHING to do with brightness. It's to do with color TEMPERATURE. I can easily, easily see the bluer whites at the bottom of your third picture. That's nothing to do with blurriness of picture, exposure of the image etc.

When you think about it, it's not possible for anyone's Voyage to be any different, since the light source is still at the bottom, so it will be brightest/bluest there. Until Amazon switches to multiple light sources on their devices, I can't imagine this getting any better.

I know it has to do with temperature. I can see it in the photos you posted, so I am capable of seeing it. But I can't see any difference between top and bottom on my screen.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I don't disagree with you that you can't see the difference.

You could take pictures from whatever angle you like - that bottom of the Kindle is still going to look cooler/bluer than the rest of the device.
